Role overview:
Team: GRM (Global Risk Management) Analytics and Business Insights. The (Sr.) Reporting Analyst will be supporting the Risk & Compliance Reporting and Analytics Team’s mission to Empower PayPal's Management and Employees to confidently use data to drive risk-based decision making. The individual will be responsible for creation, delivery, and maintenance of high quality, timely, and relevant risk management intelligence across PayPal.
By building relationships with a range of stakeholders across the First and Second Line of Defense, and demonstrating an ability to translate end-user reporting needs into a final product, the (Sr.) Analyst will contribute to (or lead) projects that support informed and risk-aware decision making.
• Support the delivery of the Risk & Compliance Reporting and Analytics Team roadmap.
• Accurately execute the reporting processes in scope of the Reporting and Analytics Team.
• Support the design and documentation of effective and elegant reporting through capturing end-user requirements, defining the underlying data, preparing mock-ups and final reports in reporting tools, and documenting them in procedures.
• Independently communicate with stakeholders across the company to research and develop a deep understanding of the varied data sources and processes that will support the reporting in scope.
• Possess or develop a deep understanding of data ownership and PayPal’s data governance principles.
• Demonstrate a drive towards methodic automation and continuous improvement of repetitive tasks, employing technology to solve reporting and analytics problems.
• Partner with the First Line of Defense, and Platforms Teams to meet Risk reporting use cases and end-user needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Role requirements:
• Experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence in the Risk and Compliance domain.
• Comfortable with handling data: proficiency with SQL, MS Excel
• Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) is a plus, and designing useful and engaging dashboards and reports is an advantage.
• Delivery orientation and propensity to proactively suggest solutions and next steps.
• Ability to constructively engage stakeholders across ranges of seniority and build strong working relationships.
• Ability to deliver presentations and demos to varied stakeholder groups is an advantage.
• Experience in writing high quality business requirements for reporting, analytics, automation, and machine learning solutions.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $54.00/hour-$71.00/hour
