About the Role

The Design Program Manager is responsible for defining the scope, goals, and milestones of a design project, and ensuring that they are aligned with the overall business strategy and customer needs.

Responsibilities 

• Tracking the program and managing communications and updates with all the key stakeholders
• Coordinate the resources and schedule of the project
• Manage the communication and collaboration among the design team, the engineering team, the product team, and other relevant parties
• Monitor the progress and quality of the project, and resolve any issues or risks that may arise along the way

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in design and technology as a design manager, design ops, or project manager
• Strong understanding of the design process, the design tools, and the design principles
• Understanding of the technical aspects of the product development cycle, such as coding, testing, and deployment
• Excellent project management skills, such as setting priorities, managing expectations, tracking deliverables, and reporting results
• Knowledge of Project management tools (Smartsheets, etc)
• Communication technologies skills, specifically in Slack
• Extremely organized skill

• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills while working with diverse and cross-functional teams, and influencing decisions and outcomes.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $64.56/hour - $86.08/hour
