Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a focus on customer data enablement to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to enable, manage, and optimize customer data integration and activation within a Customer Data Platform (CDP). This role will collaborate closely with marketing, IT, and data teams to ensure seamless data-driven customer experiences across multiple marketing channels. While specific expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) is not required, familiarity with marketing CDPs is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Data Integration:
    • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement customer data workflows into a Marketing CDP.
    • Lead data onboarding processes, ensuring accurate and efficient integration of customer data from sources like CRM systems, analytics platforms, and third-party tools into the CDP.
  2. Requirement Gathering:
    • Collect and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders for customer data enablement projects.
  3. Data Mapping & Transformation:
    • Analyze customer data sets to define data mapping and transformation logic required for integration into the CDP.
    • Work closely with data engineers to ensure smooth data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment processes.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Act as a liaison between marketing, IT, and analytics teams to align data strategies with business objectives and technical requirements.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of data enablement projects and ensure effective cross-team collaboration.
  5. Reporting & Insights:
    • Create dashboards and reports to provide insights into customer data quality
    • Quantify data quality issues using SQL and reporting tools within the CDP
  6. Data Governance & Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data quality, accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards.
  7. Testing & Validation:
    • Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validate the integration and performance of customer data within the CDP.
  8. Documentation
    • Create and maintain documentation of CDP data dictionary, data flows, and entity relationships
    • Create and maintain documentation of data enablement workflows and process

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on customer data, marketing technology, or data platforms.
  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and data integration processes.
  • Experience with CRM systems, analytics tools, and digital marketing technologies (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Proficiency in SQL and basic data analysis; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for managing customer data

 

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $62.00/hour-$82.00/hour
