About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that drive impact at scale. In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue across engineering, product management, design, data, operations, and leadership teams. Your focus will be on delivering high-impact programs with precision and speed, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering team alignment.
 

Responsibilities 

Program Leadership

• Drive end-to-end execution of technical programs from concept through delivery.
• Define program scope, milestones, success metrics, and delivery timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Establish governance frameworks to ensure accountability and visibility.
   

Cross-functional Coordination

• Partner with engineering, product, UX, QA, and business teams to manage dependencies and resolve blockers.
• Facilitate technical discussions to support architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and prioritization.

Planning & Execution

• Build detailed program plans including schedules, risk registers, and communication plans.
• Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure alignment across multiple workstreams and teams.

Communication & Reporting

• Serve as the single point of truth for program status to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Deliver concise and accurate updates, escalating risks or issues as needed.
• Drive operational cadence through status reports, dashboards, and retrospectives.

Continuous Improvement

• Champion process improvements to enhance execution velocity and quality.
• Implement best practices in Agile and program governance.
   

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or related roles.
• Strong technical background and ability to engage in architectural and design conversations.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, cross-functional programs.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment (e.g., startups, high-growth tech firms).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and DevOps practices.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $70.21/hour - $93.61/hour
